This tester has a non-replaceable electrode that is nevertheless precise and durable if a few basic rules are followed for a wide range of uses.
First of all, when opening the cap of the PH600 there may be white crystals around the probe, this is not alarming, it is just the residue of the preservative solution used by Milwaukee after the factory calibration. A simple rinse with water will remove them.
This pH meter should always be stored upright when not in use, and an electrode storage solution should be placed in the cap to prevent the electrode from drying out.
After each measurement, the electrode must be placed under water. If the electrode is dirty or covered with a film of residue, a suitable cleaning solution must be used. Do not use distilled water.
