Palm ash

Palm ash contains a large amount of potassium, as well as phosphorus and magnesium. The other elements present help to neutralize the acidity of the soil.

Potassium is one of the three most important elements for plant growth. The tissue controls the opening and closing of stomata in the leaves. Without sufficient potassium, these stomata do not use water efficiently enough, making the plant more vulnerable to disease and heat stress. Without potassium, the plant is insufficiently able to transport the nutrients it needs to the roots, leaves, flowers and fruit.

PH value
The PH value of Palm Tree Ash is between 10 and 11. This product can therefore be used to temporarily increase the PH value in soil and irrigation water.

NB: Always be careful when applying Palm Tree Ash: it is released immediately (water soluble) and can be quite aggressive.
