Description
co2 Boost refill
CO2 Boost recharge is only useful for growers who already have the diffusion pump.
100% natural and odourless booster
CO2 Boost contains no sugar, yeast or other chemicals.
Constant diffusion of about 10 ppm during the 3 months of its yield period.
Stimulates plant growth, growth rate and yield.
Its components can be recycled as a high-yield fertilizer once the product has expired.
It produces neither heat nor flame.
It requires no daily maintenance.
Continuous diffusion for 60 days.
Diffusion for 75 to 90 days in connection with the horticultural lighting system.
Boosting your plants with an extra Co2 System can increase your yields and growth by up to 20%, but what is the best way for a grower to use CO2? There is the right and wrong way to use CO2, and unfortunately many people use CO2 the wrong way and get no benefit from it!
Plants “breathe” CO2 instead of oxygen.
CO2 (carbon dioxide) can be used to increase yields … when you know what to do
CO2 stands for “Carbon Dioxide”, an odourless gas found in the air you are breathing right now.
Plants need CO2 to produce energy from light through photosynthesis. Without CO2, your plants will “suffocate” and die. This is partly why it is so important for your plants to have lots of fresh air.
For growers who use low wattage lamps (such as compact fluorescent bulbs or fluorescents), there is often more CO2 than is needed in normal fresh air for your plants to process all the light they are given. If your plant doesn’t need more CO2, there’s not much point in adding more CO2 because it already has more than it can use.
If you use compact fluorescent light bulbs or fluorescent grow lights like T5s, there is probably already a lot of CO2 in the air for your plants to process all the light they are given.
But things are different when there is more light provided than your plant can naturally consume. In bright light situations, the CO2 supply, thanks to a Co2 System, can allow your plants to use more of this light, which increases photosynthesis. By making your plants produce more energy from the same amount of light, they will reward you with faster growth and higher yields!
In addition, by using a Co2 System your plants are more resistant to heat and light stress!
One of the disadvantages is that adding CO2 can be expensive. That is why, before you start adding CO2, it is a good idea to determine how much CO2 you need to supply, if any, to achieve faster growth.
Using a Co2 System works best with MH/HPS and LED growth lamps!
How much CO2 do I need?
Maintain 1200-1500 PPM of CO2 in the growth chamber for best results when growing .
For the most efficient CO2 enrichment, you want to maintain CO2 levels up to 1500 PPM in your grow room with very bright light.
Plants can use up to 1200-1500 PPM of CO2.
A Co2 System works best when all the rest of the growing space has already been optimized.
If you use smaller and less bright culture lamps, you will need less CO2!
Plants should grow fast and healthy – no nutrient problems and no pest problems if possible. Healthy, living plants react very well to excess CO2!
