The PCA ceramic arc tube allows the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures, which increases color rendering, efficiency and effectiveness. PCA resists interaction with chemicals inside the tube, which stabilizes the chemical mixture over the life of the lamp, improving color uniformity and maintaining PAR/PPF levels.
